Saponification

Everything begins in November, with the harvesting of the olives from which the olive oil will later be extracted. One of the keys to its production is the slow cooking of the olive oil with vegetable caustic soda and water, until a paste forms to which the laurel oil is added.

Cutting and stamping

Once the excellence of the paste is verified, it is spread on a surface and when it hardens, it is cut by drawing vertical and horizontal lines. The resulting soaps have a more or less cubic shape, and are stamped with our family seal in an artisanal way.

Storage and Curing

Finally, they are stored for months stacked, leaving space between them, in a cool, dark, and dry place. Air and the passage of time cause the soap to cure and dry, giving the soap a brown crust and a spectacular intense green interior, which are its characteristic colors.
